TzT2 and TzT3 with Navpilot 711C

I have a Tzt2 and a Tzt3 with the 711c autopilot. I also have radar and two VHF radios. I use the Tzt2 as a chartplotter and the 3 as a depth sounder and primary for the radar. The VHFs are getting position data from the 3.

I can't seem to get the 711c to get nav data from the 2. It defaults to the 3. If I boot the 2 first, it will get the 2 but the VHFs will not see position data from the 3. If I boot the 3 first, no vav data from the 2 gets passed to the 711c.

I want to be able to send use the Tzt 2 as the nav data source. Any way to lock this in so that it does not change every time it is booted?

Do you have the TZT2 and TZT3 connected via both NMEA 2000 and Ethernet?
If you do, this is supposed to be a seamless process and it would not matter which unit is sending data because they are synchronized.
Can you post photos of your complete sensor list?

Yes. They are connected by both nmea 2000 and ethernet. Boat is in the shop as of this morning. Will take a Pic when I get it back.

I can tell you that when I boot everything up, the AP shows the tz3 as the nav source and if you initiate the navigation from the tz2 you get a nav data error on the AP.

Something else you might try is to turn on your TZT2 and set it as Source 1 in the NAVpilot. Turn that off then turn on the TZT3 and set it as Source 2 in the NAVpilot. Then set the top option to both. This would allow the NAVpilot to use whichever MFD was seen as the data master that day.
