TZT13X Transducer Upgrade

I currently have a TZT2 installed on my boat with a B60/12 transducer. I'm looking to upgrade to the TZT13X. We currently fish in western Lake Erie in 8 - 50 feet of water depth. Two questions:

1) Will the B60/12 work with the TZT13X?

2) I believe the best transducer for my area would be the B175HW/12. I don't desire the side scan feature. Is there a noticeable improvement to using a chirp transducer in these conditions and would this be the best choice? I would like to maintain ACCU-FISH and bottom discrimination if possible

1) Yes

2) Yes High Wide would give you much more coverage area and the HF and CHIRP would give you higher target resolution. You would lose Accu-fish and BD feature though.
