I don't see an option to know where my cursor is, tech support agrees it is missing so is this going to get fixed. This unit has lots of features but lacking the most basic function of a plotter.Need to know range and bearing and lat long of cursor before I put a mark on the screen. A fundamental tool on every plotter I have had. :questions

If you are trying to find out cursor position, range and bearing to a target (cursor) with your boat in the center of the screen, simply tap the screen where that target is and that information will be displayed for a default of 5 seconds. During that 5 seconds the crosshairs will also be displayed. All information in that pop-up box is from your current position. If the boat is not on the screen when you tap a target, it'll still show all that information from where your boat is currently located. When the target is tapped and the cursor lat/long, range and bearing to target (cursor) is displayed, an option appears on the side of the screen to create a point. To increase the amount of time that is displayed, go to Menu-General-User Interface Auto-Hide and it can be extended to 10 seconds.

Thanks for the reply, that works fine if you just want go to a random spot on the chart but what fishermen need to do often is determine the relationship to another known lat long position, like another boat or lost crab pot for quick reference or to put a point there on the screen at that spot. The only option on this system is to Type the position in on the keyboard and creat a point. I am using a mouse but can only guess it's position without clicking many times to see or put a point in and then go back and move it or modify it. Not very handy out in the ocean. Hoping this will get fixed.

I understand now. Although that is something that is being addressed, I cannot guarantee that it will or will not be fixed because Furuno Japan has the final say on what software problems are worked. Furuno USA has identified the problem to them and I'm fairly confident that it will be fixed.
