Tzt and b275 lwh

I have a b275 lwh transducer connected to my tzt screen. I was looking at menu-sounder options and it looks like I can change a few things like cluster and TVG.

What settings should I set this too for best view of tuna within 300 feet of water in HF mode?

What would be best for low frequency when looking deep to 1000 feet for swordfishing?

While you could adjust your TVG I normally don't. I adjust Range, Gain and then Clutter in that order. Start with your Clutter setting at zero. Adjust your range for the depth your fishing in, adjust the gain until you start to see Clutter (Blue/Green speckles). At this point you want to add a little more Gain, then use the Clutter control to clean up the Clutter as needed.

Use your low frequency when fishing at 1000ft.

Thanks for reply. When you say range do you mean manual knob adjustment of what depth I’m looking at or is there a separate range in menu->sounder? I don’t remember seeing a gain so will also have to look for that.
