TZT 3 Updating of DFF-3D

I downloaded the software update for the DFF-3D and tried to install it following the instructions. On one TZT 3, the updater launched when selected on the Initial Settings menu. However, no update appeared on the screen for selection E. I tried my other TZT 3 and it wouldn't even launch the updater. Nothing at all happened even after doing Scan. when I selected Update Network Equipment. Finally I tried my TZT 2. The updater would not launch on that either.

The files copied onto the root directory of the USB memory stick look exactly the same as in the instructions when checked on my laptop. The USB stick is working properly because after the update failed, I saved a few screen shots to it with no problem.

Any idea as to why this might be happening?

This was due to an issue with the update package itself. I had the same issue and contacted technical support this afternoon. They quickly updated the package and sent me a link to it via email. Im guessing it will be on the site if not already. After that I updated the DFF3D with no issues.

Yes the site is updated so the software should work.

If trying to update the DFF3D via the TZ Touch 3, I would recommend the Network Sensor Software Updater provided by the parent company Furuno Electric Japan.
