TZT-14 screen flashes/no respond to touch

My TZT-14 screen started flashing and will no longer respond to touch. The Power supply is 13.7v at the plug. Furuno support recommended to check for power supply issues. None found. I swapped with the second TZT-14 on the boat and it did the same with the other power cord. At times, it’ll act normal but within a minute or two, it will no longer respond. My thought is that the LCD cable may have a connection problem to the board internally or the touch screen is just going bad. Has anyone experienced this? I am unable to post a video but have a screenshot of the flash/flickering that’s occurring.

Sounds like the voltage check indicated good voltage initially, if the unit operates for a minute or two then begins to malfunction the problem lies in one of two places.
One would be a problem on the boat causing the issue. In this case to rule out any external problem causing the malfunction I would suggest isolating the unit by entirely disconnecting it from everything and plug it in to another power source entirely. Just power only. If the problem no longer occurs then the trouble lies onboard, possibly NMEA2000 issues, or network related.

I’m having almost the same issue! My tzt3 12” sometimes turns on good but sometimes just black with line and can not see nothing, I don’t know if it is power or display

Borty I recommend you get that into Furuno and resolved while it is under warranty. There is no hardware commonality between the TZT14 and the TZT3 12". They don't even run the same operating systems. It appears that the LCD assembly has some issue starting that you will want to get taken care of. It isn't going to get better.
