TZ Touch Software Update Ver 6.02

Hi
I have checked for software updates directly online with my TZ Touch and it is saying software is up to date. The version however is showing as 1950123-05.01 and not V6.02.
I have also tried updating with an SD card but the TZ Touch is not loading the update.
Could you please advise what else I can try.

Thank you for your inquiry.
One of the most common issues we encounter regarding software updates is overlooking the need to create and use a "bootable" SD card prior to copying the software itself onto the SD card. If this step is not done the software update process will not work.

The other most common issue is failure to complete step #10 of the software update instructions. Ensure that a Master Reset is completed after the software has been updated and just before you reload your waypoint, tracks, and user settings back into the TZT. One additional problem- sometimes the charts do not load and only the waypoints and tracks show on screen - other times all load fine - there dies not seem to be a pattern

Hi sorry my question was really about why there is no software update showing for the direct online download to the TZ Touch - is V 6.02 not available for direct download?

Hi can you please advise why V6.02 is not showing as latest available software when using the TZT14 direct internet connection

As discussed on this forum before the software download feature should be ignored. It was found that many updates, especially when the OS is involved, would not work.

Hi finally managed to load the 6.02 after using a different ssd formatted then the TZT formatting.
Now I have a problem viewing my waypoints even though I saved them to the left hand slot SSD card and can see the saved file.
I saved to my computer but it is a TZD file which will not open.
Help please!

If your TZD has some corruption and won't restore, I recommend opening a support case with Tech support and e-mail them the file so they can see if they might be able to get it working.
