Just want to clarify, say I have a DRS6A, TZTBB, and a PC with nobletec trident on it all networked together I will be able to see and use the DRS6A via trident? (Assuming I have the radar plus pack)

The correct add-on to Trident TZ will in fact allow you to see and control the DRS radar of your TZtouch system. For details and support please contact Nobeltec. They are also the support and sales for MaxSea software in North America. The Explorer versions of MaxSea TZ software also work with the TZtouch system and show the DRS radar. I am not sure if you can run both software packages on the same system. You would need to discuss that with them.

Hi Johnny, I don't know if you can run both Maxsea and Trident simultaneously and control radar and sounder from both, assuming on different pc's, but assume it is possible as both Trident and Maxsea are the same. I have Maxsea running in 2 separate computers in my boat to add redundancy with both controlling the DFF3 with no problems. Just make sure to assign 2 different IP addresses to the PC's. I am now adding a DRS12 radar and expect the same thing to happen. The Maxsea/Trident radar interphase looks to be quite easy for operating the radar, in fact probably easier than the sounder which in itself is also easy thanks to the direct buttons for adjusting gain.

Ok thanks for the info. I plan to only run Maxsea, but was curious about Nobletec TZ Trident.
