txtl and nxt

good morning
I read on the furuno guide to using radar that, in order to overlay radar output onto my chart, i need to have a flux gate compass. Is that still corerect if my radar is NXT and the plotter is a TZTL?

Yes, heading is needed to overlay radar and some other functions like target trails.
Heading can come from a flux gate if suitable for your boat or many other possible sources like a SAT compass, Gyro, etc.
