Tricky Hull

I am trying to decide between Furuno and another brand. I have a tricky hull configuration. I wanted a side scan sonar, but also was hoping for an in hull ducer setup. Trouble is, my in hull location is abysmal for any side scan. See the picture of the install location... There is something in the way. It is a beaching keel. There are not really any alternatives that make sense. I am currently considering the b265lh ducer and the uhd system for a tzt2. Then for any other stuff, I would need to shoot off the transom. If anyone has advice for this hull and a good ducer that would work, please let me know. Thanks.View attachment BH3 Transducer file.pdf

ps

I would like to run 12" tzt2
Hull is fiberglass
Want a 1kw ducer

Vessel max speed is 30mph. Would like finder to work at max speed if possible and the keel might send turbulence back to transom..or even to ducer on side of keel...time will tell

Fallguy1000,
Getting a sounder to work at 30 knots is all about the water flow going over the transducer.
While a Cat hull can offer a smooth ride their hull shape are not very transducer friendly.
Thank you for your drawing and I actually went on line to see if I could see better the shape of the Skoota hull. However I didn't find much. Do you have any better pictures you can send of the shape of the hull?

The cross section I gave you is about the only place for a thru hull ducer. I am thinking about using a dff1-uhd on the boat with a b265lh? and perhaps a competitor unit on the transom. Is anyone having any success using dff3d on the transoms?

There is not really access to the hull bottom forward. The hull has very high deadrise angle forward and is about 2 feet wide and flat astern.
