I have a furuno navnet vx2 rdp 149 and recently purchased a furuno etr_6/10N sounder for it, will a furuno 525T BSD 10 pin transducer work with it, I only need depth and temperature, any info appreciated anyone.

Yes, it will work. To ensure you get full benefit of the 1KW power, unsure the internal jumper in the sounder has been set to 1KW. By default it is 600w. Furuno USA calls the ETR6/10N the BBFF1 sounder. If you don't have the manual, it can be found under the support section of the BBFF1 product page of our website. Here is a direct link to that page.

New question, what gps antenna should be used with the rdp149 and what port does it plug into or is it wired

The unit can accept 0183 NMEA from many different GPS units but the recommended unit currently would be the GP330B/0183. The normal GP330B is NMEA 2000 so ensure you order the GP330B/0183 and it will come with the correct cable to go directly into data port one of the MFD.
