Transducer recommendations?

Hello, I wanted to see what transducers are recommended to be ran with a 1834c/rdp149 setup with a BFF1 sounder? Really not wanting to drill through the bottom of the hull, so I’m
Guessing a transom mount transducer is my only option. Thank you!

Depending on the boat in-hull transducer are also an option where you shoot thru the fiberglass or wood. For most people the transom mount transducer is a very good bang for the buck option. Normally for the BFF1, the Airmar P66 would be used. You would find more information on transducers under the fishfinder topic area.
