I don't know if there is a quick and easy answer to your question without knowing more about your specific application. What is the fishery, depth of the water, size and speed of the vessel.
However in general terms the lower the frequency, the greater the working depth. Also lower frequencies tend to have a wider beam width and are more prone to turbulence than higher frequencies do.
