Transducer for steel hull

Greetings all,

I have a customer in Oman who has a steel hulled commercial fishing boat. He is fishing in the 500 meter range. He needs a fishfinder but does not require a chartplotter.
He wants suggestions on what to buy.
I think the FCV1150 is a good choice, but I don't know what transducer to suggest.
Any opinions?

How big is the vessel? What frequencies does he use now? Are the current transducer(s) mounted in tanks? Are the fish mid water or on the bottom.
