Transducer challange

Lost my transom mounted transducer when mount snapped and the prop cut it off.
My question is I have plenty of cable left and want to install a thru hull transducer and rather than running a new cable to the center console ( tight squeeze ) can I wire it directly to the new transducer?
I could also add a connector to the cut end if I could get the pin out. Any advice on how I can connect a new thru hull transducer to the 6 wire cable that use to be connected to the P66 transducer.

No_farmer,
What thru hull transducer are you looking to fit and what sounder are you using?

No_farmer,
If you were using an 8-pin P-66 going to a DFF1 you must of had an 8 to 10 adapter pigtail, correct? There were a couple of different versions of the P-66, but I am going assume you had one without the paddle wheel. If so, the below wiring diagram should work for you.

You are correct it did not have the pinwheel. Thanks very much for the diagram.
