transducer adapting

Hello we have a garmin 1kw that goes into a gsd26 sounder module. What are the options for adapting it over to our new tzt3? Are there adapter cables? Wire blocks? Not sure as the tzt3 is new to us.

Thank you

I had to do this on my installation. The GSD-26 has bare wire terminals so I assume your existing transducer cable has no plug on it. What we did was take the 10 pin to 12 pin adapter cable that comes with the TZT 3, cut off the 10 pin end, and splice the wires from the transducer to the cable with the 12 pin connector. It works fined just be sure that the wire connections are done well and that the shields on the two cables are connected, which is very important. Then you just plug the 12 pin into the port on the TZT 3.

You did not say which transducer you have but if it is a single dual frequency unit, this will work. It is more complicated if you have paired single frequency transducers because of the transducer ID wire, which is what I had but can still be done.

Hallo Quitsa, I have your same problem, two paired transducers of 1 kw each, one B50-6B for 50 khz and one B200-5S for 200khz, how I can adapt the two transducers with Tzt3? Is the Mb 1100 able to make the connection? Thank you
