track line visibility

I would really like to a function to hide certain saved tracks. View active track only, view active track and a selected track, View active track and multiple selected tracks.

On which piece of equipment are you wishing to do this? GP1971F/1871F, or a TZT unit?

It would be nice, it was explained previously that all of the track lines are just one big long line. It seems silly, but I understand it from a programming perspective. However, I am sure some smart engineers can figure out how to put breaks in there without overly increasing the data size.
