In the installation of a full re-fit: TZT312F MFD connecting to: DRS4DNXT Radar sensor, NavPilot 300 w pg700 heading sensor& Dff3D. Is the J box FL-5002 necessary to connect to the AP? Then regarding the Ethernet HUB-10, is this needed to connect the radar sensor? It appears that they are diagrammed in the installation schematic to allow for additional equipment but also shows the path of connection to the MFD thru them. The other question is in wiring all of these components. Auto pilot: Is the power into the processor the only(energized) point of entry for all the other pilot components to be fed from? Regarding the Radar sensor and DFF3 black box, since there are power leads, it be best to put these on their separate protected circuits. Thanks

In regards to the hub, if the only items that you are installing are what you listed, then you do not need the hub. Any additional ethernet devices in the system you will need a hub. There are 2 network connections coming off the back of the display, the DFF3D will use one and the Radar will use the other. The NavPilot and pg700 will use the NMEA networks, wich there is one of those connection on the display. If the NavPilot 300 is like the 711, then the power going into the processor is the only source of power input into the system. I believe the Furuno answer on power wiring is every component should be on it's own circuit for protection. Most of these items have a fuse in the power line as well though for added protection.
