Temporary Mount

Hi All,

Somewhat new to boating and I have boat access through a boating club, Freedom Boat Club. None of boats have radar, so I'm exploring options where I can bring my own setup for the day, with easy setup and removal. I was looking at the 1st Watch Wireless Radar as an option. I have a battery source but am curious if anyone has a recommendation of the best way to temporarily mount the radar to the rental boat.

Temp install can be hard because the winds and boat crashing in the waves can really knock things off. I have seen some pretty nice temp installs of transducers and other items using the seasucker suction cups. You might find the size to put on four cups (one for each mounting bolt) to try holding the dome firmly on a hard top.

Thanks! Interesting - hadn't thought of the seasucker suction cups. I spoke to a bud we may put together a mounting bracket that can be inserted into the hardtop rod holders but the seasucker may be worth a look as well.
