Temp Issues on GP 1871-F

Hey Furuno forum, having some issues with accurate temperature reading on my GP 1871-F. It is paired with an SS175M but reads temp way negative (-50F). Have re-done connections from transducer to 10-Pin plug (Blue to Blue, Black to Black, Orange to Orange, White to White, Brown to Brown and Both drains to drain wire from ducer cable) and even tested the transducer on another MFG's display which gave an accurate temperature reading. Temp offset is not an issue, and I have "Internal FF" selected from sensor list. Called tech support and they don't have a solution. I have searched online and seems there were a couple people with similar issues, but no replies of solution or diag. Any and all input is welcomed.

Thanks,

Nick

Remove the White and Brown wires (TEMP) from your splice and ohm them out. Good temp sensors should be roughly from 10K to 12K Ohm. If it isn't in that range the transducer temp sensor is likely bad.
