Surface pro

Thank you for your inquiry. You cannot run the TZT apps on a surface pro (android or iOS only). You could install Nobeltec TZ Pro software however.
 
On Android, "1st Mate" app is for Mercuty engines.

I could not find anything from TZ.

Furuno, however, has "NavNet Controller". Is that what you meant? It seems quite limited (remote control). Is there any documentation?

Android 13 on my Samsung tablet and Samsung phone. Will try another android, but basically it doesn't work on all Android 13 systems.

This is just for info sake.

(Indeed, I've just ordered TZT39F and DRS2DNXT... so there will likely be more questions from me 😉)
 
We haven't logged any complaints of it not working with Samsung but we will keep our ear out. I am currently running Android 14 (w/Dec 5th security update) on my Pixel. As far as questions, this forum has a great history of good answers and a great group of helpful folks. The NXT radar is the best bang for the buck, congrats!

What Samsung do you have? I have moved onto the Fold 6 and it is working on this phone just the same as it was on my S22-23 that I previously had. You have to use the google play store, not the Samsung app store.

im on a SAmsung S20, one of my customers on a Samsung S24. Apparently the app has not been updated since 2020 and has a load of security items out of date.
 
What version of Android in the S20 and S24? Security update are for the Android OS not APPs. @gtstang462002 advice to ensure you get at the google play store and not Samsung is also valid.

Yes weve only tried through the Play store APP.

Unfortunately Samsung runs their own modified versions of Android and likely why the play store says it isn't suitable for you. I will pass that to development in case they can do anything at their end. My android pixel 7 is running the newest android (v15) and it works extremely well. It isn't about newer Android OS not working with the app.
