Start Battery Voltage on TZT3

Can someone tell me if there is a way to show the battery voltage on the screen?

There is! You can set up a data box for "Power Supply Voltage". Here is an except from the Operators Manual.

I have found it really inaccurate. This is compared to a calibrated meter placed at the power leads of the unit itself.

If you are taking a voltage reading at the cable plug and comparing that to what the unit sees when operating, it will be different. That method would not account for voltage drop.

LOL, how much voltage drop do you think there is in the furuno cable? Keep in mind that we know the gauge of the wire, the material of the conductors, and the current draw. Let's see your math.

Hint: the inaccuracy I refer to is an order of magnitude greater than any voltage drop in the cables.
