Software update and chart help

Hi, I am trying to help my father get his Furuno equipment updated and get him new Maps.
The boat was purchased in Florida but is now in the Medeteranian with no maps for the region.

I was able to identify the Program # 195002301.07 but not sure what the serial number is.

Is there anyway I can find instructions on how to 1) update the software to use C-Map and 2) where I can find maps for the updated software that we will (hopefully) have or the current version?

How can I determine which C-Map is best for the chartplotter that I have?

Will any C-Map function or will i need to download MAX-NT+, MAX or MAX-N?

The C-Map card that works with the C-Map programmed vx2 is the C-Map NT+ and NT Max on an SD card. If you contact an authorized C-Map chart card dealer, they should be able to provide you the correct card for your vx2.
