Side Scan Transducers for the New X Series MFD 225T vs 455T

It looks like the New X Series side scan can operate on 225kHz & 455kHz. Will there be a dual frequency transducer transducer that operates on both frequencies???

I would be helpful to hear your opinion each frequency as it relates to different fishing applications. Seeing fish vs seeing structure.

The 455Khz transducers are not yet available. From my understanding it will be either/or. Both see fish well but the 455 will offer slightly better resolution but due to the higher freq it won't cover as much distance as the lower freq in theory.

Typical transducer physics dictate the following: The higher the transducer's frequency it will utilize a narrow beam width that will provide better resolution, but with a loss of range of distance or depth.

However, the lower the transducer's frequency the wider the beam width with a longer detection distance or depth, but with a loss of resolution.
