Side Scan Questions

We are considering adding side scan to our Furuno TXT3 system. What is the effective depth this will see fish targets while trolling?

Depth, it is going out to the sides not down. To the sides roughly 700 ft if I recall correctly.

I may not be asking the question correctly, i understand it sees out to the side 750ft but it sees fish in the water out to the sides. Im wondering the depth it sees down in the water to see fish and bottom structure. I’m trying to determine if i could see fish 180ft deep in the water column out to the sides while trolling?
