Server FI-3005 and PG-500 Compass

Hello,

Does anyone know if its possible to connect a PG-500 Compass to the FI-3005 server?
Or: FI-3004 the only option?

I do have a PG-500 and the compass connection on the FI-3005 server is not in use at the moment. I also have a FI-310 instrument which does not work at the moment.

The PG-500 used to be connected to my steering computer.
But I had to replace my steering computer.
Now, a Precision-9 Compass is connected to the steering computer.

The server which I think you are talking about is an older FI30 system not sold by Furuno USA. Is that what you are talking about?

The older FI30 system was proprietary and the server had 0183 input/output. You should be able to wire the compass heading (0183) from your PG500 into the server. Being that Furuno USA never sold it we have very little information on that system. You might try the distributor in the country where you purchased it.
