Serius weather on BB2

Hello,
I have a Furuno BB2/TZTouch2, with Sirius weather BB-WX3
When I select the "weather" display on the chart plotter option, my boat direction is North Up. I can't seem to find a way to select Head Up while on the weather display.
There must be something I am missing...(I hope).

Another question: If I reach "too many tracks or points": Can I export what I have on the system now on a SD card - then remove the card - delete tracks. Correct? Then if I need some of the tracks back, I can insert the SD card and select which tracks I need?

What intervals do you recommend setting up the tracks? Obviously they way i have it set up currently is not ideal because I get the alert of "too many tracks" way too soon.

Thank you for your help,
Roberto

Are you clicking the yellow hot page for weather? That page is for weather data only and not for navigation purposes, so you only get the north up view.

You can export and import your tracks to the SD card under [Settings] > [File] >[Export tracks] / [Import tracks].

You also have a feature where you can turn on [Automatic track deleting] for when you reach the maximum points allowed for tracks. It will delete your oldest track point first.

I would make sure your track settings is set to distance and not time. You can set the distance to what suits your needs.

Kicker,
Thank you for your reply. Regarding the weather display, yes I am selecting the yellow box at the top, which I know is for weather. I don't understand however, why I could not navigate using that display...

Before I bought this BB2 a year ago, I had NavNet3D for 8 years. The Sirius weather was always overlaid on the chart I was using for navigation. The nice thing about that set-up is/was that if bead weather was approaching or a squall,I could immediately see what was coming from my navigation chart. With this latest BB and set up, every time I want to check the weather, I have to leave my navigation chart and go select the weather chart.... I honestly don't understand the reasoning behind this change by Furuno.
Anyway,
Thank you again for your quick reply.

With all the data you can get using a BBWX3 or BBWX4 on a TZT2 compared to a NN3D, it can really clutter the screen. That is one of the reasons why they decided to dedicate a page to weather.
