SC70 & N2K vs ethernet

Am about to install my Furuno suite, and have an SC70.

It looks like it has the functionality to broadcast on my N2K backbone...but it also has an ethernet RJ-45 port. Can't find guidance in the documentation.

Is this an either/or choice of whether to have the SC70 send data via the LAN or the N2K network? Is there more functionality or speed/response on one vs the other??

The SC70 RJ45 network is for commercial use only with some of our commercial products which we don't discuss here. You can NOT use that network connection on your NavNet. The NMEA 2000 connection would be acceptable to use for your NMEA 2000 bus.
