SC33 PGN to IF-NMEA2K2

I hope to use the IF-NMEA2K2 with the SC33 to output NMEA0183 to an autopilot. I have a question: The PGN 127250 is listed for heading output from the SC33 at 100ms. What exactly is in this PGN? Is it HDT or HDM ....? Next question, the documentation for the IF-NMEA2K2 says output at 4800 baud is at 1s intervals. This is not fast enough for an autopilot. What options do i have for a converter?
Thanks for your help

Good morning GB119

Thank you for your inquiry.

Please see the photo below that was taken from the NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) website. You can use the NMEA website to look at different NMEA2000 PGN's.
I provided a link below for your reference. It appears PGN127250 can output both HDT and HDG (only the deviation field) depending on the needs of the product that requires heading.

The IF-NMEA2k2 has a couple of different modes that it can use to convert NMEA2000 PGN's to NMEA0183. The IF-NMEA2k2 can be configured for 4800 baud or 38,400 baud. It also has a couple of other modes like AIS Mode. There are 3 wires shorted together by default which gives you the default mode which is 4800 baud and output sentences are fixed. Please see link to a table that defines what PGN's are output in each mode below.

So the mode can be changed, for high speed heading I would recommend the 38,400 baud mode, so if you cut the Orange wire and cycle power on the IF-NMEA2k2 it will put the IF-NMEA2k2 into high speed mode at 38,400 baud rate. This will allow the IF-NMEA2k2 to convert PGN127250 to NMEA0183 Heading HDT. It will also populate the deviation field for HDG.

Please see examples of SC33 converting to IF-NMEA2k2 High Speed 38,400 below. These are the NMEA0183 sentence from the IF-NMEA2k2.

Thanks for the response. The device I’m feeding with the ifnmea2k2 only accepts 4800. What is the frequency (hz) of update from the ifnmea2k2 at 4800?
Thanks

ok, so 1hz
For others with this problem, i did find something that will do NMEA2000 to 0183 at 10hz, 4800. Its a Simrad product AT10HD..... also need 24005729 simnet to NMEA2000 adapter cable. This only coverts heading so its pretty limited...but also fairly cheap
