RSB0070-064A compatible with RDP-149

Hi FURUNO FORUM.,

We recently brought from Furuno an RSB0070-064A Radar Antenna to be used in a RDP149 display but there's any document or confirmation that they are compatible. Could you guys let us know if we have to get any other spare to connect that antenna to the display or it just going to be a Plug and Play?

It have an a RSB0070-064 but its damaged, water get inside of the gearbox.

The RSB0070-064A was designed for the 1935 radar. While the 1935 can use the -064 or the -064A, the older NavNet Vx2 can NOT. While it will sort of work, you will find it doesn't quite work well. The "A" model is a newer type and the 1935 has a software setting that allows you to choose between the older or newer gearbox/RTR. The Vx2 is NOT fully compatible with it. While you might be able to get your old RTR fixed and then use the "A" gearbox to make a good working -064, the "A" RTR shouldn't be used with the Vx2.
