RSB-0071-058 compatible to what VX1 or VX2 displays

Hi,
I have a 841-MK2 with RSB-0071-058 radome.
Would like to keep the radome, but upgrade the display.
What would be the compatible VX1/VX2 color displays for my RSB-0071-058?
Would I be able to get radar overlay on the plotter image?
Would I need a new cable?

That model is only compatible with the 7" Navnet 1 or vx2. These have been out of production for some time, but you might be able to find a used one. You will also need to connect a heading sensor if you want the radar to overlay on the chart.

do I need a particular Furuno model,
or could it be any NMEA external device connected to the system?

Yes, you could use an NMEA input of heading.
