RRU NAV Pilot 300 Single Diesel Inboard

Is an RRU required when installing NAV Pilot 300 with OCT16-12?

Using an SCX 20 as reference sensor.

It depends on the size of the boat and how you operate it. Is this a center console? How big is the boat. Do you want the autopilot to work at speeds lower than 3 knots? Is it a Suzuki system and you want "point lock" feature?

Hi,

Its a 27' Express. 300hp inboard Caterpillar diesel. Weight estimate is 10k pounds loaded.

I dont need the autopilot to work at speeds less than 3 knots.

You can run Fantum feedback and go without an RRU. With the pump installed you are trying to get 10 second hard over to hard over time. (7-13 works) As long as the pump is sized correctly and the NP300 can provide the needed amps, you should be rock in roll.
