Rebooting issues after 4.01 upgrade

Ran the system all last year without issue. Now this year the TZT2 rebooted about 6 times. Is there any known issues with the software update that could cause this? Wiring was checked and found to be tight. Te only change I made from last year was installing a battery charger in the box to charge the system at home. Thanks.

Have you performed a master reset of the TZT2 after you loaded the 4.01 software?
If the TZT2 is still rebooting itself after you have performed the master reset, then there could be something else causing this issue. What usually causes a TZT or TZT2 to reboot is usually a bad NMEA2000 bus/architecture.
The easiest way to test this is to remove the TZT2 from the NMEA2000 bus by disconnecting the NMEA2000 connector on the TZT2. Now power on the TZT2 and see if it reboots. If rebooting does not happen after removing the TZT2 from the NMEA2000 bus then we know that there is an issue with NMEA2000 architecture.

I have not tried a master reset. When I bought the boat I was getting a reset when I started the outboard but since then I've isolated the starting battery from house and that issue went away. The NMEA2000 network hasn't changed since last year. The only difference in the system is I swapped out the TM for a thru-hull. I'll do the reboot and see if anything happens on land. If not I'll have to wait until I put her in the water again.

Update: Turned out to be the inline fuse for the unit. The connector was loose and the contacts were moving around in rough waters.
