reading waypoints

I just downloaded my waypoints onto a 256mb sd card from my Navnet VX2 units. Is there a program available that I can put into a computer to read and organize them? I will also use this for backing up my waypoints in the event of a crash or loss of sd card.

Thanks in advance

If you are using a C-map programmed unit; I would suggest the planning software package that C-map offers called PC planner. It would allow you to do your planning using the same Map card in your PC that you use on the boat.

Hi Johnny

Thank you for the quick response.

I have two furuno navnet VX2 units. I downloaded my saved way points from both units on two different 256mb sd cards. Over the years both units have different way points stored. All I want to do is find a simple program that will combine the contents of both cards so I can install them on both units. I don't need to use the computer as a chart plotter.

If I try to install my two sd cards I have to overwrite the first sd card that I installed. This is not good as both cards contain different waypoints.

Bottom line I want to put all my way points onto one card for easy installation, and I would like to read the way point names, and lat long information so I can delete duplicates.
