RDP139 Compatibility

Hello,

I have installed on my boat a RDP139 Nav net system with radar, sounder as well as a second station networked. The RDP139 display is now bad and as known is no longer available. What I would like to know is what other newer display models will work with the existing radar and transducer? Will the MFD12 work and is it a newer model to the RDP139?

The NN3D would support the sounder but not the radar. To keep the radar you would be looking for a used RDP139 or RDP149 (Newer Vx2 unit). If you get a an RDP139 or RDP149 you could still network with your existing second unit. The NN3D can not be mixed with the NN1 or Vx2.

So basically ONLY the RDP139 and 149 will work with the existing radar array?

Correct; unless you want to go with a stand alone radar, then you could use the display from a 1835 to run the radar by itself.
