Hi I run a TM260 through a DFF1 the DFF1 keeps freezing up so the last time it froze the Lia all guy here in Western Australia reset it and upgraded the software but didn’t upgrade the software in the RDO-149s now the units are not talking to each other I have an old analog ETR-6 I plugged it in and it’s talking to both the transducer and the RDP-149 so how can I update the software on the RDP-149 my local guy just wants to sell me new gear I don’t want to buy new gear until I change my yammy motor out next year then I’ll get helmaster and new electronics it’s still a year away

Jake - Try checking out the FurunoUSA.com website. They should have all of the available software updates available there with update instructions for the VX2.
If I recall correctly, the software is based on the type of charts you have for the unit, so it is important to know if it is a Navionics or C-Map chart based unit.
