RD30 connection to DFF3 to get temperature reading

How do you get seawater .temperature reading from RD30 to DFF3 in a TZT2BB system.

The DFF3 only accepts analog temp. The RD30 only provides 0183 NMEA data. Why do you need to go from the RD30 to the DFF3? It would be easier to connect an analog temp sensor to the DFF3. This would normally be from the temp wires on the DFF3 transducer but if it doesn't have one; external units can be purchased separately.
