Radar Range Refresh

On the TZT2, is there a setting that allows the radar to automatically refresh to the new range when you zoom in or out without clicking on the refresh icon?

radars refresh every rotation. I guess I don't understand your question.

If the chart plotter on my TZT2 is set for example for a 2 NM edge to edge range. The overlay radar will show a similar range like 1.5 NM with .5 NM rings. If I zoom out on the chart platter to say 20 NM edge to edge, the radar remains at 1.5 NM with the 3 x .5 NM rings. It does not change to match close to the chart plotter until I press the circle with arrows refresh icon. I would like to see if there is a way to make the radar change to match the chart plotter automatically.

What you need to do is go into the chartplotter settings menu and turn the “range link” setting to “on.”

That will make the radar and plotter ranges always stay synched.
