There is no adapter that will take 0183 NMEA AIS to Furuno Ethernet. If you are trying to take it to normal PC Ethernet for some other PC program, I would have to refer you to that company as it would be their requirements you are trying to meet.

Hey there,
I am hoping you'd be able to help me. We want to be able to input voyage data on Furuno AIS using open cpn. We have had success on the emtrak100 ais. We currently have the furuno AIS connected to the computer Nmea0183 to USB adpter. We can receive data OPENCPN as all the AIS Target and own ships data appears, but the voyager plugin does not seem to be able to transmit info. I have baudrate set at 38400, and the transmit sentences only set for AIQ, ECVSD. The cable is bidirectional and OPENCPN is set to be able to transmit and receive. Is there something I am missing or another way to input voyage data on the AIS?
