PSU017 and TZTouch2

Hi everybody. I have a PSU017 power supply to drive my DRS4 which will be connected over ethernet to the TzTouch2. What I’m wondering is should I put the power supply and the TZtouch2 on the same breaker so that they are both turned on at the same time? My query here is whether the radar is drawing power even when not active? Thanks in advance for your advice. Cheers Garth

The DRS4D will be powered on whenever power is applied by the PSU017. The power draw is minimal, but it is powered up and waiting to be used. When radar is in transmit, the total power draw (DRS4D & PSU017) on a 12V system is up to 4 amps. It's up to you whether or not you put it on the same breaker as the TZT2, but it might be a good idea just to keep everything in synch. Just make sure you choose the correct breaker size.
