Problems with FCV 585 ( White LCD )

My LCD of my FCV 585 comes to white with lines when I turn it on> Does someone can help me about what is happening with the sounder?
Where can I send it for repair. Im from Brasil and I asked furnuno authorized dealer called Radiomar and they inform me without seeing the sounder that is better to buy a new one.
Here in Brazil, is very difficult and very expensive to buy another sounder like a fcv 588.
I would like to send it to furuno USA for repair.

It sounds like the LDC display is damaged. Replacement of the LCD would be almost the cost of a new unit. When considering shipping costs, buying a replacement unit would most likely be more cost effective.
