Problem with radar

The other morning coming in from offshore I experienced a problem with my radar on tztouch. The radar and boat was showing everything shifted or offset. On course up it was showing our boat crabbing, not going in a straight line. I noticed this when we got close to shore and just had to navigate via my phone and spot light coming into the channel. When we got close to the Galveston causeway (bridge) I took a photo to show what it was displaying. Please advise how to fix and what might have caused the offset. Thanks -Jacob

Okay I was finally able to get the photo you had the link for. I have attached it here:Overlay not matched up.JPG

While moving bring up your COG (Course Over Ground) in the data box next to your HEADING and I think you will find they don't match. Your heading source seems to need some help.

If the boat icon is not pointed correctly in the path of travel try changing the setting for the boat icon under HOME- MENU - GENERAL - SHIP AND TRACK to "COG" instead of heading. COG should point the boat correctly until you can get your heading fixed/aligned. Not much can help your radar overlay matching until you get heading lined up correctly. What is the source of your heading? Is Your heading coming from your pilot or what device?
