Pin for 330b plug

Hi all. The pin that comes with the plug for a 330b, when is that used, or not used? Thanks

It is used when NMEA 2000 bus termination is needed.

It is helpful when you have a very long GPS cable that exceeds 6 meters. Using the termination pin (Resistor ON) can let that run be part of the backbone so it can be extended beyond normal drop lengths.
