Hello, I am working on a project with a Pixel-sur-Mer Exocet Silver, and we want to leverage PGNs 130578, 130842, 130843 and 130846 coming out of 2 SCX-20.
We want to leverage these sentences to better correct for motion and acceleration, derive "sea state" and leverage these values in our project.

Does anyone know how gather a full detailed breakdown of Furuno SCX-20 PGNs 130578, 130842, 130843, and 130846, field-by-field, including offsets, lengths, types, units, resolutions and any Furuno-specific customizations if present.
Is there a specific department we need to reach out?

Thank you
Astolfo

Sentence breakdown is based on established standards from NMEA.org. You would need to contact them for details on structure and fields as they own the rights. The Furuno is NMEA certified and follows the established standard.

Does it not each Marine electronic company choose what type of data they put in the propriety PGNs like the ones I mentioned? for example I know B&G-Simrad, Raymarine, SBG, Exail (formerly known as iXblue), Garmin and many others do.
The format is dictated by NMEA but not the content.

Here is what I know.
