Own vessel causing collision alarms

Hi, I am having an issue with my Furuno FAR-2807 radar. I keep getting alarms and it is picking up a target but the target is popping up on my vessels exact location (middle of radar). Is there some setting I can adjust or something I can do to alleviate this issue? The alarm goes off every couple minutes.
