Older radar compatibility

I have a 24" open array radar that I use with a VX2 MFD. If I replace the VX2 with a TZT2, is there anyway to use my current radar with the new unit?

Your vx2 radar is not compatible with the new generations of MFDs. These include the NavNet 3D, TZT, and TZT2. They all use our DRS digital radar sensors.

While Furuno always strives to make new product backwards compatible sometimes new technology becomes available that prevents us from doing so.
