non furuno heave

Hi Guys,
Is there a way to get non Furuno heave into a Furuno format? I have a Simrad hs80a nmea183 and would like to use the heave of possible.

No it must be Furuno heaving information.

A bit more research and NMEA 2000 could solve it ? I can connect via the drs4d. If I output 127257,129028 it could work? I dont have the option of 065280 or 127252

No even via NMEA 2000, you must have Furuno heaving information.

On a side question is there a way to know the heave data is being received on a DFF1/3? Like on the fcv1150 and the squiggly line symbol.

Or is it give it data and hope to see the sounder screen better on a rough day?

Unfortunately No. The icon will appears on stand alone FF. Not for any MFDs. You should notice it working getting into the swells. It is a good point to pass on to product development so I will let them know.
