hi what model number do i need to connect the vx2 to a gps

Normally you would order the Furuno "BBWGPS" (aka GP320B) smart GPS antenna. It would connect directly to data port one to provide the unit position.

hello johnny, i should have explained better, what i’m wanting to do is connect my existing gps(garmin) to the vx2 and i need a nmea cable, what would be the model number for the cable,

The 7 Pin data cable for data one is part number 000-154-028. You will bring the GPS data into the YELLOW (+) and GREEN (-) input wires.
