Im updating my system from nn3d to tz touch and I have to get my GPS data to 2 vhf's and my yamaha command link which are 0183. Can I splice all 3 of these into one 0183 - 2000 adaptor (IF NMEA2k2)?

Thanks,

No, the driver on the IFNMEA2k2 can not drive that much current.

I would recommend getting a NMEA expander (like Noland Engineering's XP15) to expand the NMEA to many outputs, and this way you have more available ports.

So I understand this correctly, put the IF NMEA 2k2 to the XP15 and then put each the 2 VHF's and the Command link to the XP15. Correct? Thanks,

Great - and one last question - does the XP15 talk and listen when plugged into a 0183 unit - or do I need to go through another IF NMEA2K2? I need to get heading data out of my autopilot (Nav pilot 511) - as well as the GPS to it. Thanks again,

My understanding is the XP15 is just an NMEA expander. I would recommend talking to Noland tech support directly about their products. They have lot of other items and options. It sounds like you are asking for a NMEA combiner.
Here is a link to their web site.

I have found their tech support guys very helpful.
