We are replacing a complete VX2 system with the new TZT2BB unit and need clarification on what will be compatible with the current system. Currently installed is:
DRS12A Radar
MCU 001
FAP 5001 x2
FL-504 x2
MU 1550 Displays x2
DFF1
FAP 5002 Navpilot
FA 50 AIS
HUB101
MPU 001
My first thought is to replace everything except the DRS12A radar and get the PSU unit for the radar. Before I go out for quotes I am trying to make out a full list of equipment and could use a little help. I already have: TZT9 for the bridge, two displays for the pilothouse, Furuno GP330B-A, Maretron WSO200 Wind Unit, Digital Yacht AIS AIT5000, and adding new nmea2000 backbone for tanks, batteries, etc.
My current wish list to add is :
TZT2BB
SCX20 compass
Compatible sounder and transponder B275LHW ?
300 series Navpilot (full system)
FL70 displays
Another way to control the TZT2BB besides the MPU 005.
Any input to complete my list would be helpful.
